Visitor hours are Monday–Friday, 10am–5pm; Saturday, 10am–1pm; Sunday closed. A particular visit still requires confirmation. Check holiday changes and the entrance details with the team.
Do not treat visitor hours as a promise that a particular class or teacher is available at every time within that window.
Bring your learning goal
Write down what you want to learn and your current starting point. You might want to make Indian womenswear, develop Western garments, improve pattern skills or explore styling.
If you have made something, bring a manageable sample or a few process photographs. If you have not started yet, bring the questions that stop you from deciding.
There is no need to prepare a polished sales pitch about your ambition. The team needs an accurate picture of what you want and what you can currently do.
Compare the two annual courses
VFA offers a one-year Fashion Designing & Boutique Management diploma and a one-year Fashion Designing & Styling diploma.
Recent admissions material gives Boutique Management classes Monday–Friday, 10am–1pm, and Design & Styling classes Monday–Friday, 2pm–5pm. Confirm the current intake's timetable and how attendance works.
Ask which course best matches your goal and why. You should be able to understand the difference in projects and learning focus, not only the difference in fees.
Look at work you can discuss
A useful example lets you ask who made it, what the learner started with, what was corrected and how it was assessed. Check whether a piece is student work, a mentor demonstration or a visiting master's work.
