Day 1 Morning: Foundations of TR: Darts into Organic Seams & Curves

Studio Output: Transforming a basic bodice into spiral curve seamlines without side darts.

Day 1 Afternoon: Origami Pleat Insertion & Bamboo Silhouette

Studio Output: Folded fabric geometric relief constructed on a bodice toile.

Day 2 Morning: Vortex Draping & 3D Volume Displacements

Studio Output: Dynamic swirl sleeve and sculptural neckline construction.

Day 2 Afternoon: Toile Assembly, Steam Sculpting & Portfolio Presentation

Studio Output: A finished sculptural TR calico bodice masterwork.

Materials & Atelier Tools

Provided by the Atelier:

  • Heavy unbleached calico fabric
  • Pattern paper, scotch tape, and tracing wheel
  • Professional mannequins for 3D form draping

Please Bring to Studio:

  • Heavy fabric shears and small embroidery snips
  • Ball-head pins and pencil set

Eligibility & Technical Readiness
