Vidya Vivek

Founder

Vidya Vivek is an award-winning fashion educator from India, passionate about design since childhood. She holds degrees in Costume Design, Sociology, Apparel Technology, and a PhD in Apparel Design. She founded Vidya Fashion Academy, where she mentors NIFT students in advanced pattern making and was honored with a Gold Medal by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

In 2013, she joined the TR Masters program under renowned designer Shingo Sato and later hosted India’s first TR Cutting workshop at her academy. Since then, she organizes annual workshops with Sato and has completed multiple advanced courses, including Origami and Jetted Welts Masters.
